Misrepresentation or What?

I recently purchased something else on-line. Ah, the convenience of computers. Right? Um, Wrong. I'm including the exact email I sent to travelocity:

To Whom It May Concern:

On February 25, 2006 I booked a reservation. Before I did so, I called to verify that my 14 year old would be able to board the flight. I was assured by 3 representatives of the airline there would be no problem. While booking the reservation I observed that anyone 12 years and older is considered an adult. On March 14,2006, my ex-husband took our 14 year old(Alexander) to the airport. Alex was refused when trying to board. The reason they give him was: They weren't allowed to put a child on a connecting flight, unless someone was in Denver to assure he would be at the correct gate. On the boarding pass he's considered an adult, I also paid for an adult ticket. Not one of the representatives even remotely mentioned anything about this. I feel as if I was stolen from. As a single mother of 3, my business experiences have been much more satisfying. I'm leery at the thought of booking anything on-line due to this experience. I feel I should get my $178.10 back due to the misrepresentation in this situation. Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,

My Name and Address with home phone number.

Am I Missing Something?

When I get to thinking it usually brings too many questions. For a "simple-minded" person, life is damn complicated! Something to ponder: Is there someone you never forgave for an offense against you? Me, well, not anymore. The difference it made for me was extreme. It was my harboring it that kept weight on me. They barely remembered the event. Sometimes the simplest things you were taught at an early age that makis the biggest difference. So do yourself a favor, forgive someone, even if it's yourself!!
